TOFU SCRAMBLE

Vegan Tofu Scramble fresh avocado yellow potatoes

Ingredients

1 Tbsp Oil

16 oz Package of Tofu, drained. 

3 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast

1/4 tsp Tumeric Powder

1/4 Garlic Powder

Salt and Pepper to taste


Optional: 

Fresh Spinach

Mushrooms

Bell Peppers

Really, anything you would like in your scramble! 

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in your pan with medium to low heat
  2. Cut mushrooms into desired size. I usually just break them up into halves depending on their size. Some mushrooms can be extremely large. 
  3. Once your oil has reached cooking temp, throw in those mushrooms and sauté until soft. 
  4. Throw in your spinach. Keep cooking until most of the spinach has softened to desired consistency. 
  5. Now crumble the tofu into the pan with your hands. The size of the crumbles is up to you and your preference. I usually start off with quarter sized crumbles as the tofu will crumble naturally as you stir.
  6. Add your Turmeric, Onion Powder, Salt & Pepper. Adjust the seasoning to your liking. 
  7. Add Nutritional Yeast.
  8. Mix until all tofu has taken on the color of the Turmeric. 
  9. Serve. I like to garnish with fresh avocado and fresh tomato, but you can serve as you like.
